Costa Cruises
We are the only cruise company to fly the Italian flag and we are part of the Carnival Corporation & plc Group, listed on the London and New York stock exchanges, and world leader in the industry. For 75 years Costa Cruises has embodied Italian style and hospitality.
With 9 ships in service, our headquarters are in Genoa and we operate at global level, mainly on routes in the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Baltic Sea, the Caribbean, North and Central America, South America, the Arab Emirates and the Far East.

Horizons That Know No Bounds
We have always made it our business to introduce our guests to the world’s most beautiful destinations, giving them the chance to explore different countries and discover the different cultures in the five continents with complete respect for their identities.
As the only cruise company flying the Italian flag, it is our responsibility and duty to act as an ambassador for Italian values in the world and to represent our country at our ports of call.
At Costa responsible innovation is a key factor when we design the ships of the future and develop the onboard experience, a process carried out with maximum attention to detail in order to offer a holiday geared towards discovering local cultures and experiencing them as responsible travelers.

A 75-Year Journey
Almost 75 years since our first voyage with the Anna C on 31 March 1948, from Genoa to Buenos Aires, we are still going and still travelling the world’s seas today with the Italian flag proudly flying above our heads. We have lots of stories to tell: one for each of our ships. The Franca C, for example, was the first ship in the world to be built for cruises. The year was 1957. Over time the designs, sizes and decor of the ships have changed, and balconies have been introduced to the majority of cabins; the tastes and requirements of passengers have evolved but our values have remained unchanged, our commitment to our customers.
This is why we have plotted a course that regards innovation and sustainable development as the foundation for our future. For this reason, we strive to minimizse the impact we generate on the destinations we visit with you.

Kids and Teens

Squok Baby Area

A space designed for children here they can have fun with an adult guide always present.

Squok Club

The Squok Club is a Mini Club for children over 3 years (not requiring diapers). It's not school and it's not babysitting, it's entertainment! Your kids won't have a dull moment during a Costa cruise. And you can indulge in all the relaxation you deserve from a vacation! They'll never have a moment's pause between parties, games in the pool, tasty snacks, dancing together and mini tournaments. The Costa entertainment team knows how to hold their interest with many stimulating activities. On board, the Squok Club is divided into age groups: the Mini, for 3 to 6 years, with special Peppa Pig-themed activities, and the Maxi Club, from ages 7 to 11. So everybody has fun together with friends. The highlight of the entertainment aimed at children is that it's open all day (from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm) so that while the young tourists are busy at the kids' club, their parents can enjoy a trip or a romantic dinner. On many ships, the Squok Club area has a baby pool, water games, a pirate ship and castle.

 Teen Club

Teens can experience the cruise with their peers with non-stop fun and always accompanied by Costa staff. Fun for everyone. That's why teens (ages 12 to 17) have their own Teen Club, divided into two age groups: Teen Club Junior (ages 12-14) and Teen Club (ages 15-17). These age groups help to create new friendships and the opportunity for your children to enjoy their vacation to the fullest. Many fun events. Among the most popular events are the dance and music classes, sports tournaments, pool parties with a midnight swim, disco games and themed dinners.

Destination
World
What can you say about going on a cruise around the world? Only in the movies? Only in dreams? Well, in this case reality may just be mimicking art. The trip of a lifetime is available right now.

From one end of this great earth to the other, you'll travel via the luxury of a cruise ship. Be pampered on board as your home-at-sea makes its way through international waters to far away places.
Ports of Call
Sydney, Australia
City Sydney

Sydney is Australia''s showcase: the oldest settlement, the largest and most thriving city, the cultural melting pot. It curves around idyllic Port Jackson, where sandstone cliffs and bright islands complement the Opera House and Harbor Bridge. Wander the cobbled colonial streets of the historic Rocks quarter, or tour the mansions of Watson''s Bay.

Melbourne, Australia

Australia's "Garden City" rejoices in its greenery, from the Fitzroy Gardens to the magnificent Royal Botanical Gardens. Hiding behind the sky-scrapers along the Yarra River are the graceful 19th-century mansions of the city's Gold Rush years. Sample one of the sixty different international cuisines, which make Melbourne the food capital of Australia.

Perth (Fremantle), Australia

In the Far West of Down Under, the twin cities of Fremantle and Perth are like David and Goliath. Fremantle is a quaint colonial town of terraced houses, and a bay that was heaven for America's Cup yachts. Perth has bloomed into a sky-scrapered metropolis, though life remains peaceful on "Millionaires' Row," and in flower-filled Kings Park.

Port Louis, Mauritius
City Port Louis

Toamasina, Madagascar
City Toamasina

Durban, South Africa
City Durban

African and Oriental cultures merge harmoniously in the cosmopolitan city of Durban. Zulu rickshaw drivers beckon passengers along Durban's Marine Parade. Silks and gold-threaded saris tempt visitors at the Oriental Arcades. In addition to golden beaches, Durban offers a fascinating history. It is also gateway to Zululand, where the drumbeat of tribal dancing is testimony to the enduring traditions of the Zulus. A visit to Shakaland is an experience of tribal customs.

Port Elizabeth South Africa
City Port Elizabeth

Along the eastern coast of Africa, you will find the most beautiful city known to man-kind. This dominating tourist attraction stands alone in superiority among the hearts of its past visitors. This friendly city is known for many of its exceptional historical architecture and the allurement of its sites. Within sight of the Algoa Bay lies Port Elizabeth, engulfed in captivating serene country sides.

Dating back to 1820, Port Elizabeth became the country's first permanent British resident. A crew of 4,000 British Settlers that arrived by sea found this city. Port Elizabeth acquired her name from the late wife Elizabeth of the Acting Governor of Cape Colony, Sir Rufane Donkin. This Gateway city to the Eastern Cape is composed of a population over one million, which appoints this city as the fifth largest by population and second largest by area. Port Elizabeth plays an imperative role in the economical growth and well-being of South Africa. This role includes the contribution of the automobile industry for transportation and things such as keeping airports well equipped, port and harbor integrating South Africa with international and national destinations.

Such a beautiful sight to see contains alluring sites such as The Oceanarium, which is known for the notorious Dolphin and seal spectacle, the dolphin research centre, underwater observation area in the aquarium, two larger tanks of sharks and stingrays, and 40 different species of bony fish. The ideal weather in this city provides the perfect atmosphere for water sports. Within this utopian city lie extraordinary findings so we won't dare expose all of its possessions.

Cape Town, South Africa
City Cape Town

One of the world's most scenic harbors, the "Mother City" has welcomed sailors since Portuguese navigators first rounded the Cape of Good Hope in the 15th century. Take a cable car ride to the summit of massive, flat-topped Table Mountain, the city's dominating landmark, for a panoramic view of the Cape from 3,300 feet. At nearby Stellenbosch, the university town famous for its Cape Dutch architecture, sip crisp local vintages at one of the well-known wine estates.

Luderitz, Namibia
City Luderitz

Walvis Bay, Namibia
City Walvis Bay

Walvis Bay is an outpost on the empty stretch of Southwest Africa they call the Skeleton Coast. It was named for the whales once hunted here. Behind the town is the Namib Desert with trackless dunes inhabited by hardy, exotic desert plants and, now and then, a hungry lion or a ghostly herd of elephants. There is only one road, and it leads to Windhoek, Namibia's capital.

Praia, Cape Verde
City Praia

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands
City Santa Cruz

The port of Santa Cruz has colorful markets and fine museums, but be sure to drive through the island's lush landscapes or enjoy the amazing views from the snow-capped peak of Spains highest mountain, 11,600-foot Mount Teide.

Arrecife, Lanzarote, Canary Islands
City Arrecife

At the northeastern tip of the Canaries, Lanzarote offers some of the most unusual scenery to be found, with its unique "lunar" landscape of the Timanfaya National Park. Wander in the well-preserved colonial town of Tequise, the island's former capital, or visit the unusual house of the island's famed artist, the late Cesar Manrique, who designed it as part of the volcanic landscape.

Cadiz (Seville), Spain
City Cadiz

Founded by Phoenicians in 1100 B.C., Cádiz may be the oldest continuously occupied city in the West. The Cathedral's gold dome dates from 1722, when New World treasures flowed here. But is also the gateway to the Moorish marvels of Seville: the Alcazar and Giralda Tower, the fountains and palaces of Maria Luisa Park, and the great Cathedral, whose altar is decorated with 4,000 pounds of gold from the Americas!

Barcelona, Spain
City Barcelona

Barcelona is the cultural heartland of Spain, yet its first language is Catalan, the native tongue of the proudly independent Catalonia region. Stroll down the shady, tree-lined Ramblas between street musicians and elegant bistros. Then perhaps visit the venerable Gothic cathedral, Picasso Museum or enjoy the architectural genius of Antonio Gaudi's Church of the Holy Family.
