Club HAL

Holland America Line's youth activities program, Club HAL, offers an array of entertaining events for kids and teens ages 3-17, supervised by a full-time, professionally trained staff. They'll have an opportunity to join other kids their age for arts and crafts, sports, video game competitions, scavenger hunts, challenging team games and themed parties. Club HAL is offered on board all ships except for ms Maasdam.

Fitness

Stop by the professionally staffed Fitness Center equipped with the latest cardio and weight machines. Try one of our classes on indoor cycling, Pilates and more or work out at your own pace. You can also head out for fresh air and exercise on deck, where you'll find basketball and volleyball courts, and two refreshing pools (available on select ships). Some classes may have a nominal fee.

Casino

Your Holland America Line ship's Casino offers a wide array of gaming options. Whether you prefer slot machines or want to try your hand at blackjack or poker, our dealers and staff are available to provide complimentary instruction - and we offer many engaging tournament options. The Casino is only open at sea.

The Pinnacle Grill

Reserve a table in the intimate Pinnacle Grill for lunch or dinner and celebrate the day’s adventures with cuisine inspired by the bounty of America’s Pacific Northwest. In this elegantly appointed room, service is warm and engaging, and a meal is an event. The menu focuses on premium ingredients expertly prepared—from wild-caught king salmon from Alaska to sustainably raised beef from Washington State’s Double R Ranch. And, every evening in this venue offers a chance for you to experience the signature recipes of Culinary Council Chef David Burke. Complementing your perfectly prepared meals are boutique wines from the Pacific Northwest and other celebrated vineyards from around the world.

In Italy, there’s nothing more important than coming together to celebrate the joy of great food. This is the inspiration for our onboard Italian restaurant, Canaletto. Enjoy amazing Italian classics like braised chicken cacciatore al forno, branzino ai ferri or garlic shrimp ravioli. And for dessert: tiramisù, cannoli alla Siciliana, gelato, and more. Dive-In offers a variety of casual culinary classics, using the highest quality ingredients. 24-Hour In-Room Dining

Sleep in and have breakfast delivered. Enjoy an early dinner on your verandah before an evening excursion. Order a salad, sandwich or entrée any time. In-Room Dining is only a phone call away. All selections are included in your cruise fare unless otherwise noted on the in-room menu.

At Explorations Café, presented by The New York Times, relax in a comfortable, coffee house environment where you can browse through one of the most extensive libraries at sea, view a wide array of audio and video programming, or simply read the morning paper. This town possesses this country's vital harbor and airport. The Bauerfield International Airport is located in Port Vila. This airport assists as the center for Air Vanuatu, Vanuatu's international airline.

Port Vila takes pride in their Cultural Centre that consists of collections of the most comprising artifacts in the South Pacific. This beautiful city also contains European-style restaurants and cafes, which is also a hot shot for visitors as well as locals. Port Villa is also the core for the upcoming diving scene, sparkling beaches, and resorts situated around the city, all less than 1 hr away.

Our visitors are known to spend their afternoons relaxing swim, snorkeling, and scuba diving or finishing in our well known sparkling waters. The activities that this city includes are virtually endless. The island's proud history is showcased in the Fiji Museum, with its impressive collection of war canoes.

You'll witness village life first-hand as you tour this lush, mountainous island.

Located on the leeward side of the Big Island and best known for its coffee, Kona was once the playground of Hawaii's royalty. You can visit both coffee and macadamia nut plantations, Kealakekua Bay where Captain Cook first landed (and was later murdered) in 1779, and The Sacred City of Refuge, a haven for ancient lawbreakers. Or Parker Ranch, the largest cattle ranch in the world, with over a quarter of a million acres.

Located on the eastern seashore of the big island of Hawaii, Hilo is an old sugar town and the second-best (after Honolulu) seaport in the islands. Also known as the flower capital of the state, Hilo boasts flower farms and Queen Liliuokalani Park, an authentic Japanese garden. You may wish to visit the black sand beaches of the Puna District. Or Kilauea, the world's largest volcano; its crater is the legendary home of Pele, goddess of fire, who keeps watch over her domain of Volcanoes National Park.

Prim and proper, neat and clean, friendly little Victoria island is like a breath of fresh air. Its British heritage is apparent in the double-decker buses, the Royal British Columbia Museum and High Tea at the Empress Hotel. Go out to the renowned Butchart Gardens, where sunken floral beds reflect international themes.

Located in the midst of mountains and water, Seattle's scenery is truly a sight to see. Along with the alluring appearance of Seattle it also entails plenty of entertainment and attractions. If you're a sports fanatic, Seattle offers games by the Seattle Seahawks, Sonics, Angels or the Rainier's. If you acquire more of an artsy taste, Seattle also provides museums such as the Bellevue Art Museum, Frye Art Museum, Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Asian Art Museum, and the Henry Art Gallery. For those of you who are more into Science and History, you'll be more interested in the Burke Museum, Museum of Flight, Museum of History and Industry, Pacific Science Center, Seattle Aquarium, etc. No matter what your preference includes, Seattle accommodates all.
