Carnival Cruise Line
General

In a nutshell... we're all about fun vacations at sea and ashore! A Carnival cruise features day and nighttime entertainment like stage shows, musical performances, deck parties, casinos and more. (Like what? Like waterslides!) We invite our guests to come as they are, and we make everyone feel right at home with comfy staterooms, attentive service, casual and elegant dining, plus a variety of bars and gathering places indoors and out. Guests enjoy this unique experience against the backdrop of some of the world's most beautiful seaports.

Our 27 ships operate 3- to 24-day voyages, departing from every coast in the U.S., as well as Canada, Puerto Rico and Barbados. While we're best known for Caribbean cruises, we sail to other exotic and amazing destinations like Mexico, Alaska, The Bahamas, Europe, Hawaii and the Far East. Additionally, Carnival Cruise Line Australia now has two ships, and offers cruises from Sydney and Brisbane to New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and Repositioning cruises to the USA.

Carnival Cruise Line proudly supports important causes like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Ship
Carnival Luminosa
Overview

Setting sail in November, Carnival Luminosa is new to the Carnival fleet! This ship comes to us courtesy of our sister line Costa Cruises, and there’s so much fun that’s coming along with it.

Guests setting sail on Carnival Luminosa can expect hospitality and fun that's pure, unmistakable Carnival, with so many fan-favorite onboard features like the flavors of Alchemy Bar, Fahrenheit 555 Steakhouse and RedFrog Rum Bar; the entertainment of Playlist Productions, Piano Bar 88 and The Punchliner Comedy Club; plus the relaxation of Cloud 9 Spa and Serenity. And when you’re indoors, you can still expect great views and lots of natural light - the ship was built with plenty of windows.

Thanks, Costa! ✌

So when you choose to sail on Carnival Luminosa, can we just say... great choice! There’s just one more decision to make: is Australia or Alaska more your cruising style? We ask because this world-traveling ship will kick things off with a season of sailings from Australia with plenty of itinerary options... before heading to Seattle in 2023 for a summer of Alaska cruises. Then it's back Down Under for more fun. And when the ship’s heading from one region to the other, we take the opportunity to sail unique Transpacific itineraries that stop in spots like Fiji, Tahiti, Hawaii, Japan and more. So, what we’re saying is... with scenery like this, you’re gonna put those windows to good use!

Dining
Pizza Delivery
So here's the problem: you're having an amazing fun time on your cruise and a craving strikes. You need pizza! Your options are: pull out your phone and snap a selfie - and now one's on its way! If you're wondering when you became a wizard, may we remind you that you actually used the Carnival Hub app? Any time of day, or night, pick your toppings, tell us where on the ship you’re hanging out and, optionally, take a selfie to help the delivery folks find you. (Delivery’s just $5 per pie… and the pizzas are always free!) Wow, you look hungry - we'll get a fresh one on its way to you, ASAP(izza)!

Or, take a longer trip across the southern Pacific from Los Angeles and visit Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, New Caledonia and Australia. Would you rather visit China or New Zealand? Would you rather sun in Mexico or shop in Seattle? Transpacific cruises visit a variety of ports and can last from ten to thirty-four days. Where you go, and for how long, are up to you.
Ports of Call
Brisbane, Australia

Nestled between the Gold Coast to the south and the Sunshine Coast to the north, laid-back Brisbane makes the most of its magnificent beaches, offering an ideal blend of Aussie ease and urban energy. Wander in the lush Botanical Gardens, shop in the Queen Street Mall, or enjoy the countless cafes and restaurants along the banks of the Brisbane River.

Guam, Asia
City Guam

Once you arrive on Guam you will see that the island is a harmonious place, full of great sights and wonderful eateries. The Guam Museum is a wonderful place to learn all about the Chamorro people who occupied Guam over 1500 years ago.

Okinawa (Naha), Japan
City Naha

Hiroshima, Japan
City Hiroshima

Set on a bay in the Inland Sea, Hiroshima was the infamous site of the first atomic bomb explosion of August, 1945. But perhaps the best reason to visit Hiroshima is the enchanting island of Miyajima with its famous Itsukushima Shinto shrine, considered one of Japan's three most beautiful sights. Its famous torii stands just offshore, a tall, vermilion-colored symbol of Japan, which appears to float during high tide.

Yokohama, Japan
City Yokohama

Aomori, Japan
City Aomori City

Seward, Alaska
City Seward

The city of Seward is located in southern coast Alaska in Kenai Peninsula Borough at the top of the Resurrection Bay. The city of Seward was founded back in 1902 as the end of the Alaska Rail Road which was built 1915-1923. The name of Seward was derived by Abraham Lincoln's secretary of state, who arbitrated the purchase of Alaska from Russia in 1867. The city of Seward suffered from 90% of the waterfront industry due to an earthquake in 1964. Due to this earthquake, six feet of the shoreline dropped along with the harbor and fuel docks.

Hubbard Glacier, Alaska

Seventy-five miles long and covering over 1,350 square miles in area, Hubbard Glacier is the largest tidewater glacier in North America. It is also one of the most impressive, a 500-foot wall of ice rising sheer and jagged from the ocean. You may hear the rumble and see the monumental splash as the glacier breaks off in great ice chunks, known as "calves."

Juneau, Alaska
City Juneau

Alaska's capital can't be reached by road. You fly or sail here to enjoy its greeting of dockside flags and flowers. It is surprisingly urban and cultured for being so remote. Visit the museum for insights into Inuit culture and crafts. Drive up to Mendenhall, the only glacier inside city limits! Or get an aerial view from a helicopter. Fish for silver salmon, or just enjoy some off the grill--then kick back at the Red Dog Saloon.

Ketchikan, Alaska
City Ketchikan

Ketchikan is the salmon capital of the world. The canneries are busy, and the stream below Creek Street's rustic boardwalk bustles with life. Visit the ancient grove of Totem Bight, the largest collection of authentic totem poles anywhere. Make a flight to nearby Misty Fjords--a breathtaking vista of Alaska's unspoiled wilderness and America's newest national monument, or, try a little salmon fishing.

Seattle, Washington
City Seattle

Located in the midst of mountains and water, Seattle's scenery is truly a sight to see. Along with the alluring appearance of Seattle it also entails plenty of entertainment and attractions. If you're a sports fanatic, Seattle offers games by the Seattle Seahawks, Sonics, Angels or the Rainier's. If you acquire more of an artsy taste, Seattle also provides museums such as the Bellevue Art Museum, Frye Art Museum, Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Asian Art Museum, and the Henry Art Gallery. For those of you who are more into Science and History, you'll be more interested in the Burke Museum, Museum of Flight, Museum of History and Industry, Pacific Science Center, Seattle Aquarium, etc. No matter what your preference includes, Seattle accommodates all.
