In a nutshell... we're all about fun vacations at sea and ashore! A Carnival cruise features day and nighttime entertainment like stage shows, musical performances, deck parties, casinos and more. (Like what? Like waterslides!) We invite our guests to come as they are, and we make everyone feel right at home with comfy staterooms, attentive service, casual and elegant dining, plus a variety of bars and gathering places indoors and out. Guests enjoy this unique experience against the backdrop of some of the world's most beautiful seaports.
Our 27 ships operate 3- to 24-day voyages, departing from every coast in the U.S., as well as Canada, Puerto Rico and Barbados. While we're best known for Caribbean cruises, we sail to other exotic and amazing destinations like Mexico, Alaska, The Bahamas, Europe, Hawaii and the Far East. Additionally, Carnival Cruise Line Australia now has two ships, and offers cruises from Sydney and Brisbane to New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and Repositioning cruises to the USA.
Carnival Cruise Line proudly supports important causes like St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Carnival Freedom offers some of the latest and greatest features across our fleet. As you explore the ship, you'll find food options galore. Feast your eyes on dining rooms Posh and Chic, and look to Freedom Restaurant on Lido Deck for mouth-watering Guy Fieri burgers at Guy's Burger Joint, plus the greatest tacos and burritos this side of the pier at BlueIguana Cantina.
For every great food spot, there's a great place to enjoy drinks, too, from the toe-tapping Scott's Piano Bar to the always-hoppin' 70's Dance Club. New libation hotspots include Alchemy Bar (cocktail magic central) and SkyBox Sports Bar (the 50-yard-line of fun). An outdoor, seaside bar is practically a cruise ship requirement, and everyone's favorite is here... whether it's the RedFrog Rum Bar or BlueIguana Tequila Bar. (Or hey, both!) The rum bar's older brother, RedFrog Pub, features drinks, live music and traditional pub games. Topping off adult-time is the one-and-(adult)-only Serenity Retreat, where total relaxation is not only encouraged, but pretty much required.
If you're a kid, Carnival Freedom means you're in for a treat. Not only will you find new friends at one of three youth spaces - like the all-new Camp Ocean - but you can splash around with them in one of our many pools, speed down the Twister Waterslide, or once you dry off, challenge them to a round of mini-golf. Oh, and adults - don't get jealous; your inner kid gets to do all this stuff too!
Up on stage is Playlist Productions, featuring songs you know... and dance moves you'll soon be using. And for a chance to get up on stage yourself, there's Hasbro, The Game Show, where kids of all ages - even you, grandma - compete in larger-than-life Hasbro games come to life!
And for the cherry on top... it's actually called Cherry On Top. It's the spot for something special, whether that something's a little something sweet - or simply a little something to sweeten a special occasion.

Barcelona is the cultural heartland of Spain, yet its first language is Catalan, the native tongue of the proudly independent Catalonia region. Stroll down the shady, tree-lined Ramblas between street musicians and elegant bistros. Then perhaps visit the venerable Gothic cathedral, Picasso Museum or enjoy the architectural genius of Antonio Gaudi's Church of the Holy Family.
The Plaza de Merced, cathedrals, and museums of Malaga make it a remarkable site for studying the history and culture of Spain. The coastline that borders the city is magnificent, and it creates a wonderful backdrop to the ancient land.
The capital of Gran Canaria is a delight for strollers with areas such as Ciudad Jardin, where beautiful gardens surround the Canarians' homes, and the old quarter of Vegueta, where Christopher Columbus stopped in 1492. Explore the island's beautiful landscape; the highlight is a visit to the Guanches' caves, where the island's primitive inhabitants once dwelled.
The sand really is pink, and the style is decidedly British in this Atlantic Ocean island gem a day a half by ship from the East Coast. Although some cruise ships call at Bermuda on the way to or from the Caribbean and Bahamas or Europe, most cruises to this island are single-destination journeys, giving vacationers several days to enjoy the many delights it offers while using their ship as a floating resort hotel. Tourists are not allowed to drive automobiles in Bermuda, but readily available motor scooters and bicycles allow independent explorations of this small island. The shops are decidedly upscale with particular emphasis on fine products from around the world and especially Britain. Bermuda also has an abundance of restaurants featuring the island's distinctively spicy cuisine. Summer is prime time for Bermuda cruises, and ships depart for the island from a number of East Coast ports, including Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Norfolk, as well as from Florida. Though a small island, Bermuda has two cruise ship ports - one at Hamilton, the island's capital, and the other at Kings Wharf.
The main attraction in Port Canaveral is the Kennedy Space Center, featuring exhibits and an IMAX theater which takes you through the entire history of America's space program- complete with a space launch from start to finish. Or, travel to nearby Orlando, home to more theme parks than anywhere else on earth - including Walt Disney World and Universal Studios.
