For armchair sports fans, Sport24 offers coverage of major events including the Premier League, Wimbledon, Formula 1, the Ryder Cup and more, shown in certain bars and lounges, and all staterooms and suites.
Fitness Classes
Keep up with your exercise routine, or try something new, at fitness classes for all levels.
Setting your own pace really defines the Cunard experience, and our fitness classes offer a sociable way to stay active and energetic. Work on your posture and strength with Pilates, yoga or t’ai chi. It’s easy to raise the pace by joining in aerobics and spinning classes, boot camps or even personal training sessions.
Games Deck
Queen Elizabeth’s Games Deck is a unique feature among our ships, offering al fresco entertainment.
Spend time in the great outdoors wherever you are in the world. This refined, expansive area is a garden-like space in which to enjoy games such as bowls, deck tennis and croquet, shaded from the sun. You could also hone your putting skills in our golf nets, perhaps with a few pointers from the helpful entertainment team. And if you’re ready for a challenge, you could sign up to one of our friendly tournaments to add a little competitive edge

The Clarendon Fine Art Gallery offers a finely curated collection which is open for viewing round the clock, 365 days a year. Exhibitions feature original artwork, hand signed limited editions and sculptures which can change by the day and feature such names as L.S. Lowry, Sherree Valentine-Daines and Christian Hook. Clarendon Fine Art also hosts events from gallery tours to exclusive previews and informative lectures.

For many, a good read is an essential part of a relaxing holiday and there's no better time to indulge this passion than whilst on board with us. You'll find the range of titles available in our beautiful libraries is as impressive as the refined surroundings.
So, find yourself a good book, pull up a leather armchair and enjoy some quiet contemplation. You may even wish to join the Cunard Book Club where thought provoking literary discussions with fellow guests are led by the ship's librarian.

You can devote an indulgent hour each and every day to our signature Afternoon Tea.
If anything perfectly encapsulates Cunard’s service and sense of occasion, it is our prized daily ritual: Afternoon Tea, served by white-gloved waiters from 3.30 to 4.30pm every day in the Queens Room. Indulgent finger sandwiches, scones and pastries accompany Twinings fine leaf teas, as the orchestra provides a melodic backdrop. Our Grills guests may also retreat to the more intimate Princess Grill restaurant, while a more casual interpretation awaits in the Lido or King’s Court.

Our Gala Balls are highly anticipated occasions on any cruise of three nights or more. They’re the reason you’ve packed your finest dinner jackets and ballgowns, ready to sweep around the Queens Room. An eight-piece orchestra sets the tempo to an evening of dancing; our gentlemen hosts are always waiting to accompany any single ladies. Every event has a glamorous theme, from the traditional Black & White Ball and Masquerade Ball, to a Roaring Twenties Ball and a hat-focused Ascot Ball.

If partying in the open air is your idea of fun then you'll love our lively deck parties. Our deck parties are always fun so join the sailaway party to get your holiday off to a great start. In warmer seas you may also enjoy a tropical deck party, an exuberant occasion not to be missed. Sailaway parties take place on the open deck when weather allows and you'll enjoy a buzzing atmosphere with live music and dancing. Barcelona is the cultural heartland of Spain, yet its first language is Catalan, the native tongue of the proudly independent Catalonia region. Stroll down the shady, tree-lined Ramblas between street musicians and elegant bistros. The nights on Ibiza are temperate in terms of degrees, but sizzling as far as the nightlife is concerned... Ibiza draws crowds of both conservative tourists and outrageously wild partiers.
Heraklion, the capital of Crete and its principal commercial port, is just three miles away from the fantastic ruins of the Palace of Knossos. Discovered in 1899 by Sir Arthur Evans and partially reconstructed, the elaborate Palace is believed to be the mythical Labyrinth of King Minos and the seat of ancient Minoan culture. The Archaeological Museum in Heraklion displays many of the treasures found during the excavations.
One of modern engineering's most celebrated achievements, the 110-mile Suez Canal links the Mediterranean with the Red Sea. The first attempt to excavate a canal was recorded in 2100 B.C., and over the years Egyptians, Persians, Romans, Arabs, French and British all have tried their hand, the latter two succeeding in the late 19th century in a joint effort.
Situated on the Red Sea along the East Coast of Egypt, Safaga serves as a gateway to the magnificent antiquities of Luxor and Karnak. Site of the ancient metropolis of Thebes, Luxor has a history which goes back to 2000 B.C. Like Babylon and Nineveh, it was considered one of the great cities of the ancient world, but of the three it is only here that the splendor survives. Marvel at the massive columns and statues. Stroll down the Avenue of the Sphinxes to the grand ceremonial gateway of the Temple of Amun-Ra. Sail across the Nile to the Valley of the Kings, sacred burial ground of the Pharaohs.
Like a magic carpet spread before the sea, Oman's coastal plain is one of the most fertile areas of Arabia. Famous since antiquity as the source of frankincense, Salalah was already a prosperous town when Marco Polo visited it in the 13th century! Inland rise the forbidding Al-Quar... One of Asia's great success stories, this island republic has merged diverse cultures into a dynamic and thriving nation. Clean, modern and full of green gardens, its neighborhoods reflect the Chinese, Malay, Indian, Arab and European backgrounds of its past. After sampling the legendary shopping, retire to Raffles Hotel's famous bar and toast Maugham, Kipling and Noel Coward with a Singapore Sling.
The Dutch colonial influence is still found in the harbor area of Indonesia's capital. But Jakarta's present-day personality is formed by the millions of Indonesians from distant islands who have sought big-city life, creating a third-world metropolis. In the Far West of Down Under, the twin cities of Fremantle and Perth are like David and Goliath. Fremantle is a quaint colonial town of terraced houses, and a bay that was heaven for America's Cup yachts. Perth has bloomed into a sky-scrapered metropolis, though life remains peaceful on "Millionaires' Row," and in flower-filled Kings Park.
The city of Adelaide is sophisticated and cosmopolitan with a population in the millions. Pride in its heritage and traditional values are prevalent here. There is also a comfort and convenience about Adelaide that is rarely found in cities of its size. Australia's "Garden City" rejoices in its greenery, from the Fitzroy Gardens to the magnificent Royal Botanical Gardens.
